Recognition of our strength as a forces-friendly company
We are delighted to have received an Armed Forces Covenant Silver Award 2023 for our commitment to supporting the armed forces community, and for being a forces-friendly employer.
tlmNexus has been built by technical experts and former serving military officers working together to create technology which furthers the strength of the defence sector. A significant proportion of our workforce is made up of Service Veterans; we highly value their skills and experience. We would not be where we are today without their ability to understand and solve our customers’ needs, nor without the empathy with which they operate with everyone, including customers, work colleagues and those who use our software and consultancy services.
We engage with organisations such as the Officers’ Association and the Careers Transition Partnership to source job candidates, and share our experiences about how best to transition to civilian work and life.
We have supported many service charities such as BLESMA, Help for Heroes and SSAFA, and provide financial sponsorship of armed forces sporting organisations; currently these include RAF Dinghy Sailing, RAF Waddington Kart Club and the RAF Bobsleigh team, and have in the past sponsored Royal Navy Winter Sports Association activities.
It is also our policy to support Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers with paid leave for their relevant activities of up to five days a year.
